Welcome to New York State! Home of Yankee Stadium, NYC pizza, the Adirondacks, Madison Square Park, the Catskills mountains, Radio City Music Hall, Lake George, and Niagara Falls.

For starters, the international hub New York City claimed by some as “the most celebrated city in the world,” rests here, on the shores of the Hudson River. New York City is the largest and most populated city in the United States. This city is home to over 8 million residents and is a truly unique and wonderful place to visit. There is so much to do and see in the Big Apple. You can take in an award winning show on Broadway, followed by dinner or dancing at a club downtown. During the day, you can head to famed 5th Avenue for a complete New York shopping and dining experience. Be sure to check out Rockefeller Center, where you can tour, shop, eat and catch breathtaking views of New York City. Or visit the Empire State Building, the tallest building in the city. Last but not least, take a ferry ride out to Ellis Island where the Statue of Liberty stands tall and welcomes travelers into the United States.

New York has much more to offer than just the world-famous city of Manhattan. Head to the Catskills, east of the city, for some rugged outdoor adventures. Here you can hike, bike and take in beautiful views of this extremely rural region. You can also plan a camping trip to Adirondack Park, which is a State Park the same size as Vermont!
