When planning your next vacation you might want to consider a trip to Washington D.C., the capitol city of the United States of America. A visit to the nation’s capitol is a fantastic way to spend a week’s vacation or just a weekend away. From jazz clubs to national treasures, D.C. has it all! Be sure to tour the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens where many exotic, aquatic plants are cultivated and preserved. Catch a baseball game at Nationals Park and then grab dinner at one of the many restaurants in Georgetown, a beautiful and busy D.C. neighborhood and home to Georgetown University. For you music lovers head to Blues Alley and check out one of the city’s many jazz clubs or pop over to the Black Cat, a popular nightclub. Finally, for those of you looking for some outdoor adventure, bike one of the many trails along the outskirts of the city, such as the Mount Vernon Trail. Feeling adventurous? You can rent a boat and sail the Potomac River!
