Northern Virginia, particularly Arlington, Virginia, is a great place to stay when you are visiting the attractions in and around Washington D.C., the nation’s capitol. Within minutes you can get to the nation's monuments, museums and government offices. Be sure to visit the Arlington National Cemetery and the parks along the Potomac river which offer a wonderful area to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Then head to Virginia Beach, one of the most popular vacation destinations on the east coast. Relax on the sandy shores and grab ice cream and souvenirs on the 3 mile boardwalk. Travel to the eastern shores for a less populated Virginia beach vacation or to Norfolk and step onto the Oceanfront Beach that stretches into the Chesapeake Bay.
