For an outdoor experience, check out the 225 mile Katy Trail, one of the longest hiking trails in the world. Head to the base of the Ozark Mountains, where the Lakes of the Ozarks offer fun and relaxing beach vacation communities. Boat, swim, fish or kayak in the Missouri Lakes and later head to one of the quaint villages for shopping, dining and lodging. A wide variety of water parks and boardwalk amusements can also be found and will be sure to offer family fun for all!
Last but not least on your Missouri travels head to Kansas City and St. Louis. In Kansas City be sure to check out city parks, museums, high end shopping and a bustling nightlife scene.
