a mountain cove adjoing the Nantahala Nat'l Forest. Hike from
your door throught woodland trails or take a llama trek to a
hidden waterfall. Hawkesdene House combines all the charm and
comfort of an English Country House with the rustic beauty of the
North Carolina mountains to provide a unique Bed & Breakfast or
Three cottages have 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. Can sleep 6 using
sofa bed in living area. Completely furnished, including
washer & dryer. Huge screened front porch with rocking
chairs & swing. One cottage wheelchair accessable. One
cottage has three bedrooms, 2 baths, can sleep up to 10.
Inn has 5 guest rooms, breakfast served to Inn guests only.
All cottages have cable TV with VCR, telephone, full kitchen,
washer & dryer, nicely furnished. All have wood burning
fireplaces or gas logs.
Sorry, No smoking in Inn or cottages.
We cannot have pets in the Inn, but you're welcome to visit with our Great Pyranees dogs and Smoky the Cat will likely visit you
(she lives in the barn).
Pets (small & medium dogs) are allowed in cottages at extra charge.
Inn: $95 to $125 per night per couple including breakfast.
2 Bedroom cottages: $162.50 per night, 2 night minimum. $395 for 3 night weekend; $595 7 night week. Three Bedroom cottage $212.50 per night, 2 night minimum.

Llama Suppers are fun -- our guide leads you, you lead a
llama who is toting your supper to the top of Hawkesnest
Mountain. The guide grills a wonderful supper while you
relax and watch the sunset in our Gazebo atop the world.
