I spent two nights at La Haut and wish I could have stayed longer. Don't be put off by the long drive up the mountain. The view of the Pitons, seaside village and the Caribbean is the best on the island. No AC in our room, but the ocean breeze and fans were enough. Special welcoming details (flowers, fresh fruit, coffee and tea) mark the touch of a caring owner. La Haut is for romantics and nature lovers with spectacular views of St. Lucia's famous twin peaks and World Heritage site - the Pitons, Caribbean Sea, sulphur springs and Soufriere rain forest valley. A short drive away from the most popular nature things to do on the island - bath in the therapeutic waters of the sulphur springs; hike in the rain forest; climb the Pitons; bird, dolphin, whale-watch; snorkel, scuba-dive. Love tropical plants, and the unique sounds of the Caribbean, we have it all on this 52 acre working plantation. Mother Nature is at her best. Come and enjoy the simplicities of life- stars at night, moon rising over the mountains, donkeys bray, hummingbirds flit from flower to flower, hawks soar on the wind currents.

Six double occupancy rooms in two story main building - 3 superior deluxe upstairs and 3 garden downstairs with air-conditioning. A small cosy upstairs country room at back of main building (restricted views). A self-contained two story cottage; Two bed room about 200 yards from main building and Three premium vista rooms in Cashew Villa. All have private bath and balcony, king-size beds, mosquito nets, fridge, kettle and toaster. Complimentary beach towels, fruit in season in room. Delice Restaurant and bar at La Haut Resort, next to the main building, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Three outdoor balconies. Relax and sip a rum punch, enjoy the "perfect views" while savouring our famous fish cakes. Play a game of snooker, or darts. Try the antique piano. Swim in 40' X 17' pool in garden setting or disappearing edge pool. Library offers good selection of reading material.

One-bed rooms sleep two per room. Upmarket King Koil pillow-top beds with Dunlopillo toppers in premium rooms. Extra bed in room on request for third person (not all rooms can accommodate).Bathroom with shower(hot water) in each room.Daily maid service in the rooms. Fresh fruit in season. Two bedroom and premium vista rooms have television. All rooms except the premium vista rooms and two bedroom unit has is equipped with a telephone.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW:

Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival date is subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations over 30 days are subject to a 5% penalty fee.
No shows are subject to 50% of the accommodation total.
Shortened stays 30 days prior to arrival date is subject to a 25% shortened stay fee based on the period cancelled, less than 30 days, full payment will be forfeited.
