The island is a quite place, perfect for people who like uncongested place to rest and enjoy seaside.No high rises but full of nice people. Cottage is located in a nice section of the Island overlooking Aloa Bay, Mississipi sound amd Dauphin Island Bridge and is minutes away from: beach;Historic Fort Gaines; Indian shell mound: bird sanctuary; Sea lab and estuarium; Golf course, tennis courts, pool; Bike and jogging path; Fishing piers; Different stores and restaurants.

Accommodations
The Willow tree cottage is a separate dwelling attached by a large deck to our family home. It is a 800 sq.ft suite style arrangment with natural pine floors, bedroom, dining room, living room and kitchen areas, bathroom and closet. Nice view, wonderful sunsets, perfect for evening grilling.

Dauphin Island is 10 miles from world famous Bellingrath Gardens, one hour from Mississippi Gulf Coast Casinos, and a ferry ride away from Gulf Shores, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida.
Map & Directions
Exit 17A on I_10 to Highway 193 south to Dauphin Island. Once on the Island turn on Desoto street (first right) at Circle K store, drive three blooks, turn left on Levert street to Chaumont street, where you take right. 300 yards on the right is 1304 Chaumont Avenue. Look for large WILLOW TREE.
