Our weekend was great. Mr. & Ms. Harper opened the Willow Tree Cottage to us and our toy poodle, Tyler. The accomodations were everything we imagined and more. When we get another few days, we would like to go back and enjoy another visit to the island. ... more

Our family stayed with Mr. & Mrs. Harper for three nights and had the best time ever. Mr. Harper let us use his bikes and fishing nets to take the children around the island to fish. The house is very clean and quiet. The view of the bay is just as sweet as the tides coming in. We can't wait to go back!! We're hoping to join them this summer. ... more

We the most amazing vacation. Mr. & Mrs. Harper are wonderful peoplw and we felt right at home. He served us home-made bread twice during our 5 night stay. Sitting ont he deck at night watching the sun set over the bay was so much more than we could have hoped for. We will return and we will stay at their larger house but will return to Willow Tree Cottage for a mommy daddy trip. Worth every penny and every mile to get there. ... more
The island is a quite place, perfect for people who like uncongested place to rest and enjoy seaside.No high rises but full of nice people. Cottage is located in a nice section of the Island overlooking Aloa Bay, Mississipi sound amd Dauphin Island Bridge and is minutes away from: beach;Historic Fort Gaines; Indian shell mound: bird sanctuary; Sea lab and estuarium; Golf course, tennis courts, pool; Bike and jogging path; Fishing piers; Different stores and restaurants.
The Willow tree cottage is a separate dwelling attached by a large deck to our family home. It is a 800 sq.ft suite style arrangment with natural pine floors, bedroom, dining room, living room and kitchen areas, bathroom and closet. Nice view, wonderful sunsets, perfect for evening grilling.
Nice breakfast served in the Cottage or on the deck.

Policies & Restrictions
Dauphin Island is 10 miles from world famous Bellingrath Gardens, one hour from Mississippi Gulf Coast Casinos, and a ferry ride away from Gulf Shores, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida.
Exit 17A on I_10 to Highway 193 south to Dauphin Island. Once on the Island turn on Desoto street (first right) at Circle K store, drive three blooks, turn left on Levert street to Chaumont street, where you take right. 300 yards on the right is 1304 Chaumont Avenue. Look for large WILLOW TREE.
