Description of Surrounding Area

The Inn at 802 is in a prime location with the historical area just a short stroll away as well as William & Mary College. Jamestown Settlement, Yorktown, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA and several golf courses are close by. Gift certificates and packages are available.

Description of Accommodations

The decor in all of our guest rooms reflects Colonial charm and beautifully coordinated colors and fabrics. The window treatments, duvet covers, dust ruffles, and pillow shams are all handmade and reflect the attention to detail so common long ago and still so tasteful today. All guests rooms have private baths, writing desks with chairs, and beautiful period-style antiques and reproductions. While each guest room is different, they share a common theme of comfort and good taste. They are spacious, private, quiet, and inviting. Our entire Inn is climate-controlled for our guests' comfort. We are a non-smoking facility.

Description of Rooms/Suites

DUKE OF GLOUCESTER ROOM: The Duke of Gloucester Room is on the first floor. It has a charming pencil-post queen-size bed with a cozy goose-down comforter, spinet-style writing desk, armoire, dresser, and cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower.
KING GEORGE ROOM: The King George Room is also on the first floor. It has a beautiful king-size rice-carved four-poster bed with a fluffy goose-down comforter, chest of drawers, knee-hole writing desk with chair, and cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower.
LAFFAYETTE ROOM: The Laffayette Room is on the second floor. It has two beds, a four-poster rice-carved queen bed, and a full-size four-poster bed. It can accommodate two or three persons. The Laffayette Room is complete with its serpentine, ball & claw footed writing desk, built in dresser and armoire for cable-TV with remote control. Both beds have cozy goose-down comforters. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower.
FRANCIS NICHOLSON ROOM: The Francis Nicholson Room is also on the second floor and is the largest of our guest rooms. It has a beautiful silky walnut king-size featherbed with a cozy goose-down comforter. There is an additional twin bed in the room with a goose down comforter as well. The room is complete with matching knee-hole desk/vanity with stool and mirror as well as night table and chest of drawers. The Francis Nicholson Room also has built in chest of drawers and cupboard for cable-TV with remote control. All guest rooms have full, private baths with tub and shower.

Amenities

The formal dining room can be used for a conference room for up to 10 people.

Services Offered

Full, hot breakfast is served daily. Afternoon wine and munches offered each day. Soft drinks and bottled water provided for your pleasure.

Rates & Availability

Rates are $145.00 to $165.00 per night for 2 people including full breakfast. Gift Certificates are available.

Directions

From I-64 East, take exit 234, Route 199 East for 8 miles until you come to the traffic light at Jamestown Road. Turn left on Jamestown Road. We are down one mile on the right side at 802 Jamestown Rd. There is a stone sign post out front.

From I-64 West, take exit exit 242A, Route 199 West for 5 miles to the traffic light at Jamestown Raod. Turn right on Jamestown Road. We are down one mile on the right side at 802 Jamestown Rd. There is a stone sign post out front.
