Active Adventure

Tours in the Glades offers Full Day Tours; Morning or Afternoon Tours and Night Walks! See the Everglades up close and personal. Our tours are maxed at 9 people. Our guides have an enthusiasm for the Glades that is unmatched!
Paddling in either canoe or kayak for 2 to 3 hours on all full day tours. Wet Walks on all Full and Half Day tours. Night Walks are on paved trails and Boardwalks!
To give you the best day, our guides chose the trails and watercraft considering all the conditions like where the wildlife is and the best paddling for your day!

Age range, type of group

Our Full Day and Morning or Afternoon Tours are small with a max of 9 people.
Night Walks can take 12 people.

The Full day Tour has a very nice pace even though it is a long day. We recommend that if you have children under 13 and used to long days in the wild to call us before reserving this tour

Our Morning and Afternoon Tours are great for those short on energy and time. We recommend that if you have children under 13 and used to being in the wild, to call us before reserving this tour.

The Night Walks are perfect for all ages. You can even wear heeled shoes! If your children need to be in car seats or boosters according to Florida law, you will need to follow the van into the park. Strollers are allowed on the night walk trail.

Sleeping and meals

the Everglades Hostel offers dorm style and private rooms. Communal dinners are sometimes cooked by our hostellers. We have a fully equipped kitchen available 24 hours a day for your own meal prep

Tours in the Glades offers a variety of tours in the Everglades National Park from November to March. Limited tour options in October, April and May. Canoe and Bike Rentals all year.
All tours depart from the Lobby of the Everglades Hostel in Florida City and venture into the national park's main entrance.
Full Day Tours will venture into all 9 eco systems!
Morning or Afternoon Tours will venture into 5 eco-systems
Night Walks will venture into 2 eco systems
Full Moon Paddles happen for only 3 nights in each month Nov-March.
