Day-O Villa

Day-O villa is located in Silver Sands Estates. This private, gated community is situated on Jamaica's fabulous North coast, midway between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Silver Sands has it's own beautiful, white sand beach, exclusively for the use of Silver Sand's guests. The surrounding countryside has rolling hills with lush tropical vegetation.

It is conveniently located to many local attractions.

The Craft Market in Ocho Rios is worth the trip if you like bargaining for local crafts and gifts. It is close to Dunn's River Falls which are a must see. If you plan on climbing the falls (defintely worthwhile), a pair of old tennis shoes or windsurfing slip-ons is advised.

You can enjoy a relaxing river rafting adventure on the nearby Martha Brae River.

Horseback riding is available at Chukka Cove.

Rose Hall Great House was the home of the White Witch of Rose Hall - Annie Palmer was said to have murdered several husbands and slaves through witchcraft in the 1800's. Worth the tour.

Green Grotto Caves (with underground lake)is a scenic tour and the drive through nearby Fern Gullyis worth the trip.

Columbus Park was errected near the site where Columbus landed in 1494.This is a free, brief stop on the way to Ocho Rios.

Deep sea fishing, golf and tennis are available nearby.

Day-O is a luxurious Jamaican beach villa. It is fully staffed with a cook, cleaning lady, gardener and pool maintenance service.

Each of the 3 air-conditioned bedrooms has it's own adjoining bathroom. The comfortable living room is equipped with satellite dish TV, VCR, and stereo. Fresh flowers adorn the dining room daily.

A spacious covered veranda leads to the large pool deck and gazebo with 15x30 foot swimming pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The large double lot is landscaped with hibiscus, bougainvilleas, allamadas, coconut palms and other delightful tropical plants and flowers.

It's a two minute walk to our fabulous private white sand beach with beachside bar & restaurant.

Our staff will pamper you at Day-O villa- they do the cooking, the dishes, the laundry (no extra charge)- you are our guests - relax and enjoy it!
