Active Adventure

ENJOY MONTANA!The Rich Ranch is located in the scenic Blackfoot River Valley of western Montana -along the Lewis and Clark Trail- and adjacent to the spectacular Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. Our newly built cedar/log lodge and cabins are nestled in the edge of a large natural meadow with a backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. We are surrounded by a combination of state and national forest with the renowned Bob Marshall Wilderness out our back door. Ranch elevation is 4300' with the mountains around us rising to 9000'

Typical Day

We are open year around - Spring and Summer activities include horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, ranch life, and car tours to local points of interest. During the fall we offer fair chase big game hunting for elk, deer, bear, and mountain lion. Scenic winter snowmobile tours are available December through March.

We are small and personal - a family owned operation with over 50 years of guest ranch and outfitting experience in the mountains of Montana.
A ranch vacation is suitable and enjoyable for folks of all ages. And it is a great choice for family reunions.

Sleeping and meals

Spacious guest rooms have private bath, covered decks, gas fireplaces, and a combination of king, queen and twin beds. On ranch amenities include 12 person hot tub, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, hiking trails, mountain bikes, plenty of open spaces, and a well stocked library in the main lodge.
