Within steps of the University of New Hampshire and eight minutes from Historic Portsmouth, the Inn offers unique lodging convenient to antique and outlet shopping, the Strawberry Banke Museum, several historic mansions on tour, and the rugged seacoast of Maine.

ACCOMMODATIONS
In our 23 elegantly appointed guestrooms you will find fireplaces, wood burning stoves, four poster beds dressed in Edwardian drapes, rich tapestries, antique artwork, polished wood floors warmed by oriental rugs.

Each room boasts it's own personality with fine Georgian mahogany furnishings, overstuffed lounge chairs, cable television, and full size Chippendale desks with two incoming lines for data ports.
Added comforts include full private baths, two person showers, oversize tubs, and Jacuzzis.

FINE DINING
The original homestead dining room and winter kitchen provide an authentic Colonial setting for fine dining in "Maples" and "Coppers". Four fireplaces cast a warm glow on elegant cuisine and friendly, upscale service.
CASUAL DINING
The "Tavern" with it's open hearth summer kitchen fireplace, granite walls, and hand hewn beams, provides a cozy spot for hearty traditional fare.
Important business connections and family occasions call for just the right touch. Our two elegant conference rooms, the executive board room, "Orchards" and "The Madbury"
accommodate 25 and 80 people respectively or up to 105 when combined.
Services Offered
Services included in the room rate are a full hearty breakfast, turndown service, afternoon tea, and concierge.
In room two line phones with data ports and a business service center offer convenience to the business traveler.
Restrictions
The inn is a Non Smoking inside, and accommodations can be made locally for lodging of pets. The inn is able to accommodate children over age 6.

QUIET WATER KAYAK ADVENTURE
Located at the Old Mill Falls, connecting the Lamprey River with the Oyster River and the Great Bay, two of the most beautiful self guided kayak adventures are within steps of the Inn. Two Current Design Storm or Squall sea kayaks, paddles, life vests, bilge pump, spray skirt, car top carriers and hold downs, and paddling directions.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI/SNOWSHOE ADVENTURE
Enjoy the rolling hills, historic homes and farms of New Hampshire and the Maine seacoast, on a self guided cross country skiing or snowshoe tour. The package includes two nights lodging in a deluxe room, full country breakfast each morning for two, a back pack for an optional picnic lunch, and a three course dinner for two in our Maples dining room or our Tavern, on one night.
The Inn provides the skis or snowshoes, boots, poles, car top ski carriers, detailed maps and touring directions, including rest stops and points of interest. Skis will be available for you at the Inn upon your arrival or you may select one of the tours originating near Portsmouth or in Southern Maine. In that case you will pick up the equipment at our affiliate's facility in historic Portsmouth. Maps provide you the option of shortening or extending the day's tour.

TO FIND US
From Boston take Route 95 North, through the New Hampshire Toll Plaza and on to the left lane Exit 4 (Spaulding Turnpike/Route 16.) After passing the Newington Shopping Malls and crossing the bridge, take exit 6W (Durham / Concord) via Rte. 4 West. Proceed approximately 5 miles to the Durham/Rte 108 Exit. At the bottom of the ramp take a Left onto Rte 108 South/Newmarket Road. At the fork in the road, continue on Rte 108 south by turning left. On your left will be the Durham Town Hall, and just beyond on the left will be the Three Chimneys Inn.
