Cottage Lakeland and wilderness areas abound. The Haliburton Highlands has 600 lakes and a rolling landscape. Year round tourism and attractions. Walk in the Clouds (hiking 60 feet in the trees), golf, hiking, biking, cycling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing are all at our door. Well developed trail system please ask us about it.

Accommodations

9000 square feet of luxury encased in a log building built by one man in 1928. History galore be sure to ask about the History as this property as it was once a prominent and well known Lodge back in the 30's to the earily 80's..now reinstated as a bed & breakfast. The timber fram additions to the building enhance its offerings to the visitors. Thousands of square feet of deck over look the fast waters of the Scotts Dam and The Drag River. Perfect place for intimate conversation over your morning coffee. Our swimming is seasonal in the Lake...but do not forget to ask us about our Natural Whirlpool. Rooms/Suites

Luxury Suites look over open water year round. Suites include fireplace, bed ad sitting area, walk out balcony, ensuite bathroom with steam shower. Beds are quality and chosen for the adult visitor...a solid bed and the sound of the waterfalls make sleeping a delight. (Twin, Double, Queen and King beds). Livingroom and sunroom pullout couches for that intimate larger size party. 9 beds all over the house that can sleep 16 people who sleep together (wink, wink)...ask us what this means.

Amenities

The 1200 foot sunroom with a million dollar view has a guest kitchenette, fireplace and washroom. Nature viewed from the decks...moose, deer, beaver, otter, ducks, loons atc. Breakfast is served in the Sunroom...a pair of binoculars on each table to get close and personal with the animals and birds you see each morning.
30 or more fine restaurants with in 5-25 minutes drive. Amazing conference or workshop facility available for a small group...fora an additional cost....Ask us about The Pine Studio.

Services Offered

With Bed & Breakfast arrangements a generous and incredible breakfast is served at a time convenient to you and in keeping with your adventure interests. You may be sharing the house with other visitors.
Our Exclusive Plan is for small groups where all guests are members of your private party. You can cater your own meals or we can cater your meals...ask us about what our suggest meal plan is you will be pleasantly suprised. Wholesome Home cooked...not necessarily gourmet.

Policies & Restrictions

We have a friendly Dalmation in house who doesn't take kindly to pet visitors...sorry.
Folks enjoy the view of the falls, the open water and lots of wildlife year round...while smoking on the decks.
We are an Adult only Bed & Breakfast...not suitable for children.

Discounts for Seniors always. As you may apprear very youthful we may have to ask you to prove your age. Mention this web site for a 10% discount.

3 day reservation (pay for 2 get one free)
