Surrounding Area

Wenatchee Valley is in the center of the state of Washington. Approximitly 2 1/2 hours east of Seattle Washington. We are the center of the apple growing country. The Coumbia River runs down the middle of the city. Mission Ridge ski area is only 12 miles from the city center. The city offers many attractions, including golf at numerous golf courses including the award winning Desert Canyon Resort. Water sports on the river. Snow Skiing. Antiquing at the many antique malls. Just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful valley and its four seasons is a wonderful thing.

Accommodations

Our home was built in 1918. We are listed on the Wenatchee Historical Registure. When the home was built it was the highest point in the valley. At the time there was a view of the entire valley and the river. Apple Country B&B has been a private home in the past except for a short time in the early 1950's when it was a boarding house for nursing students.

Rooms/Suites

Each of the 5 rooms available is named after a different apple. We have 4 rooms with private baths and 2 rooms with a shared bath, featuring a huge claw foot tub and large seperate shower. Our "carriage house" is seperate from the main house and very private. It is a compleatly furnished 1 bedroom apt. With a full kitchen, and a queen size futon in the living room. It sleeps 4, our rooms in the main house sleep 2. The most popular room is the Gala Suite. It features a large room overlooking the back yard through windows the length of the room. It has a queen size bed and private bath.

Amenities

We serve a romantic candle light gourmet dinner (or not romantic if you are not in the mood!) for an additional charge. There are tv's in each room. computer hookup available. Hot tub for relaxing. Resturants are within walking distance as is downtown.

Coffee is available in at 7:00am. Full breakfast is served at your choice of 2 seatings.

Policies & Restrictions

no smoking is allowed. Small pets are allowed if contained in room. Children love the carriage house and it is wonderful for family vacations. Women traveling alone enjoy the security our home provides. As well,men enjoy the comforts.

Available 12 months a year. Rates range from $65.00 to $95.00.
