Description of Surrounding Area

We would like to welcome you to Sea Cliff Cottages located on the dramatic northeast coast near the picturesque fishing village of Calibishie . Comprised of three individual cottages (studio, 1 and 2 bedroom) each surrounded by fruit trees, exotic flowers and vegetable gardens, it is the perfect place for those of you who value your privacy.


An added bonus is freshwater bathing in the Hodges river where it flows into the sea at Hodges beach. This is an ideal swimming spot for children, five minutes walk from the cottages. Pointe Baptiste is also within walking distance and Woodford Hill beach but a couple of miles away.

Sea Cliff is just a short drive from many of the islands attractions. Enjoy a day trip to the Carib Territory, Emerald Pool, Indian River , or just go exploring. The drive to Portsmouth is one of the most beautiful on the island. An excellent road meanders through the coconut plantations with vistas of little fishing harbors backed by massive hills and gorges. Portsmouth boasts a good dive centre and excellent outdoor market and is only a twenty minute drive. A late afternoon walk into Calibishie can reward you with some fresh fish from the local fishermen, or if you prefer, a choice of several restaurants to dine in. A variety of fresh fruits can be picked on the grounds at Sea Cliff and vegetables can be obtained from the gardens as well.

Description of Accommodations

The cottages are equipped for short or long term stays with full kitchen, bathroom, dining and sitting area. You can be as independent as you wish , preparing your own meals etc. , or take advantage of our cleaning and catering service which we try to tailor to your specific needs.

Each cottage has a large balcony overlooking the sea with a compelling view of the river valley and mountains to the south. A variety of birds, from the jewel like hummingbird to the pelican, can be observed from your balcony as you relax after a day of hiking, snorkeling, or swimming in the sandy bay below.

One bedroom....large master bedroom sleeps two, futon couch/bed in livingroom sleeps additional two

Two bedroom....Double bed and twin beds plus futon/couch bed in livingroom, for up to six people
