Mountain Rose is quiet, private, pristine, beautiful, has some of the best fishing in Colorado, and is filled with wildlife. It's definitely the place to visit for that well-deserved rest and relaxation you've been promising yourself and your family for so long. There's fishing in our extensively stocked private and public lakes, hiking in nearby Roosevelt National Forest, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, canoeing, rafting on the Cache La Poudre River, bird watching, golf, watching videos, or simply talking with the people you treasure most.

Description of Vacation Rental Property

Mountain Rose is set on five acres in a wooded mountain glen. It is a two-story, three-bedroom, two-bath bungalow with big, bright windows that look out over a full-surround deck, a hot tub area under tiny lanterns, and a moss rock area which forms a beautiful, natural sitting area. Open year 'round, the cabin is tastefully decorated, complete with a fresh holiday tree from Thanksgiving through January 15. Kids love Mountain Rose. We have many special areas and treats for our smaller guests. A wee one traveling for the first time? No problem. The spacious master bedroom has a lovely crib. There's even a high chair in the dining room.

Mountain Rose sleeps eight very comfortably or makes a spacious honeymoon getaway for just the two of you. You'll have your pick of a king size , a queen, two twins, or a queen size sofa bed.

Amenities

You might think that being out in the wilderness means "roughing it." Well, we have a different idea of what "roughing it" means. At Mountain Rose, it means 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. A fully equipped, gourmet kitchen... If it's needed in the kitchen we have it. Tired of cooking indoors? No problem - switch to the gas grill on the patio for a night or two, or cook out over an open fire in our "Oklahoma Joe," which is nestled in a natural moss rock setting. At Mountain Rose, "roughing it" also means a satellite TV with VCR and dozens of current movies. Imagine slipping up to your neck in the swirling and wonderfully relaxing water of our newly added hot tub. Escape the stress in your life and view your world with a fresh perspective. How about a JVC CD player and shelves full of best sellers, puzzles, and games? There's a romantic, gas-fired stove and thermostat-controlled forced air heat for you city slickers. And when you're down to your last pair of underwear, just load up the washer & dryer in the utility room and start all over.

Restrictions

Handicapped/Mobility Impaired accessible. Children welcome. Smoke-free, please. Arrangements can be made for your pets, but specific permission must be obtained before your stay with us.

Rates- $145.00 per night for up to four people and, $35 per person over four up to eight, two night minimum, Four night minimum over major holidays.
