Hillcrest is set on 5 landscaped acres in the middle of a 200 acre farm. Perched atop a hill looking out across rolling green hills, you enjoy fantastic panoramic views to Mt Warning in one direction and the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges in the other. Close to 5 world heritage listed National Parks, pristine beaches, golf club, shopping, horse riding, restaurants, rainforest and river cruises; the beautiful Tweed coast is your ideal holiday destination.

Description of Vacation Rental Property

The large Australian colonial house is the shape of a square doughnut built around a central atrium with a decorative fishpond, tropical plants and resident family of Australian Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months. One entire wing is for guest use and has a guest sitting room opening to the atrium. Guests also enjoy a private entrance.

Solar heated salt-water swimming pool, with decorative waterfall, looks to Mt Warning in one direction and the Cougal Mountains & Springbrook Ranges in the other. The gazebo is fairylit at night and looks out across 2 lilly-filled dams to the Ranges.

Two B&B rooms are located either side of the massage room so there are no common walls between guest rooms. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms, one with luxury double spa bath and one with full size ordinary bath. Both have separate showers. Both rooms have in-room tv, dvd and video players, are fully air-conditioned, have ceiling fans and double glass sliding doors opening to a large verandah with table, chairs and a hammock outside each room.

Main house B&B tariff includes full country style breakfast served in the dining room, including home-made breads and home-grown free-range eggs from Hillcrest chooks.

The separate self contained honeymoon Cottage is set in it's own secluded garden hidden away near the pool area. Double glass sliding doors open from the air conditioned lounge (with wide screen TV, DVD and Stereo including CD Player) to a private verandah with table/chairs and gas BBQ.

The fully equipped kitchen has a full size gas stove, microwave , fridge and all possible kitchen utensils you may need during your stay.

The bedroom is completely separate from the lounge and has a large ensuite bathroom with oversize shower and top of the range luxury double spa bath.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The Cottage caters for 1 couple only with a further 2 couples accommodated in the main house bed and breakfast where both guest bedrooms have QS beds and open to a large 10' verandah with hammocks, cafe tables and chairs, and views across undulating farmland to Mt Warning in the distance.

Both Rooms have large ensuite bathrooms with baths and separate showers, the Spa Suite enjoys a luxury double spa bath.

The Cottage enjoys QS Bedroom with QS bed, double glass sliding doors opening to patio which looks directly at Mt Warning and ensuite bathroom with luxury double spa bath and separate large shower.

In the main house B&B our Blue Room has an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate oversize shower, colour tv/dvd/video, and double glass doors opening to a 10' verandah with a hammock, table/chairs and views across rolling green hills to Mt Warning in the distance.

The Spa Suite has a bigger tv, dvd and video player, double glass doors opening to a 10' verandah with a hammock, table/chairs and views across rolling green hills to Mt Warning in the distance. A huge ensuite bathroom enjoys luxury double spa and separate shower.

The guest lounge is set up as a quiet reading area with stereo system, strong reading light, stocked fridge and small book, CD, tape and DVD library. The lounge opens to the charming central atrium with decorative fishpond and resident green tree frogs during the warmer months.
