Situated under the famous Forth Bridges, North Queensferry has a number of attractions to experience.
Take a walk along the Fife Coastal Path, stretching all the way to St Andrews & beyond. Take a ride on one of Fifes many cycle-ways, or visit Deep Sea World, Scotlands National Aquarium. If you like golf, you'll love Fife, with it's famous courses like St. Andrews, or why not try many of the lesser known ones. Fishing? we've got sea, river & lake fishing almost on the doorstep
We're only 20 mins away from Edinburgh & all that fabulous city, called "The Athens of the North", has to offer.

Accommodations

"Fourteen Falls" was built of local stone in about 1704 as Fishermen's cottages. Lindsay & Malcolm inherited it about 5 years ago, & have completely refurbished it, whilst attempting to maintain it's charm & character. The Living room & kitchen/diner are on the 1st floor, in order to enjoy the views. The bedrooms & bathroom are on the ground floor.
We have an enclosed garden, with lawns & flower beds, specialising in roses. There is ample, secure parking for 3 cars.

We want you to enjoy your stay with us, & hope we provide an atmospere where you feel "at home".
We let just one room. Don't be put off by the thought of not having ensuite facilities; the bathroom is next to the guest bedroom, & we ensure that our guests privacy is paramount. Towelling robes are provided.
It is a twin room, we can convert to a double. There's a colour T.V., radio alarm clock. Tea,real coffee, drinking chocolate, fresh milk, biscuits. Desk, reading lamp. Books, including guide books & pamphlets.
Robes,Hairdryer. We also provide personal items that the weary traveller may have left at home

Other Information

North Queensferry has a local train station, why not plan to leave the car with us & take the train into Edinburgh, across The Forth Railway Bridge? The journey only takes 20 minutes, & takes you into the heart of Edinburgh!

Directions

From Edinburgh go north, cross Forth Rd. Bridge, take 1st exit & follow signs for North Queensferry. Go down to Albert Hotel, turn left, immediately left again & immediately right. Our house is at the end of the lane, next to the ruined chapel. Alteratively we will be delighted to collect you from the Airport or train stations.
