Description of Surrounding Area

Visitors to the area enjoy the flexability that this area provides. With New Orleans only 30 minutes away, trips to the French Quarter, Zoo, Plantations and riverboats are close at hand.
Or you may be ready for a little R&R on the beach, also just 30 minutes away, in Mississippi where some also spend time at the Casinos.
Woodridge is just outside of Slidell which has some of the best antique shops around or take a trip on the Honey Island Swamp tour...a day on the river is relaxing and enjoyable, Nature trails, winery, art galleries.

Description of Accommodations

The Woodridge, a Georgian Colonial syle home, was orignally built as a private school in a quiet area just outside of Slidell near the Pearl River. Read a good book on the balcony, swing under one of the 100+ year Registered Live Oak trees on the property.
Relax and refresh in our newly added pool and hot tub.
The beautiful gardens with seating areas and fountain add to the serenity of Woodridge. Our 1800 square foot pavilion is ideal for family or corporate gatherings, Weddings, etc.
The Grand Living room is a great place to socialize with friends or Acquaintances.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Woodridge has 5 quest rooms each decorated with antiques, queen size beds with memory mattresses for the perfect sleep, full private baths, central air, ceiling fans, phones and Cable TVw/DVD. Two of the five quest rooms are suites with a daybed for lounging or for your 3rd or 4th person. Each room has access direct access to the balcony.

A community refridgerator and micowave is available for our guests' use.

Amenities

Woodridge is located close to some of the finest restaurants around - both casual and first class. No need to travel to New Orleans to eat as the area's flavors can be found here!
There are conference facilities located in Slidell and New Orleans. The Woodridge pavillion is a great place for weddings, reunions, and company get-to-gethers. (For information give us a call or email us!)

Services Offered

Breakfast is not to be missed! Gourmet Egg / Meat dishes served with select fresh fruit in season, assorted breads, juice, teas, and fresh Louisiana Coffee.

We provide assistance in making reservations for dining or tours. Provide direction assistance and tips of what to see in the area.

Restrictions

Although Woodridge can not accommodate pets, we will help arrange Kennel services in the area.

Woodridge is a non-smoking establishment but smoking is allowed outside.

All guest rooms are located on the 2nd floor, no elevator.

Rates & Availability

The Magnolia and Live Oak Suites range from $99 - $149 and sleep up to 3 or 4.
The Dogwood, Azalea, and Rose Suites range from $99 - $129. (minumim nights stay required during Holidays and special events such as Mardi Gras, Sugar Bowl, Jazzfest,etc. - call for information)

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Personal Checks are accepted.
Check in time 3-7 P.M. (late arrival can be arranged if notified) Check-out time 12 noon.

Reservation & Cancellation policy: Deposit equal to first nights stay taken at time of booking, entire stay during special event periods. Cancellations must be recieved 14 days before reservation date (30 days during special event periods) to recieve refund of your deposit. Remaining balance due on arrival, no credit for early checkout. No-shows are charged for entire stay.

Directions

Traveling on I-10 or I-12 take I-59 (just north of Slidell) to the first exit (Exit 3). Turn Right and travel 3/4 mile, turn left on Crowes Landing. We are located at 40149.
Traveling south on I-59, take the second Louisiana exit (Exit 3) Turn left and travel 3/4 mile, turn left on Crowes Landing. We are located at 40149.
