Ideal for boating, bird watching, fishing and crabbing. Nearby boat, kayak rentals and estuary tours available.Within a 5 minute walk there is the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. There have been 325 species of birds recorded at the Refuge through 1994. Egrets, Night Heron, Oyster Catchers, Loons, Bittern, Glossy Ibis, Snow Geese and Plover are just a few you will see.
