Relax and refresh your spirit in one our intimate 4-season cottages. they are all right on the water with awesome views of an absolutely pristine lake. some have nice, grassy front yards and beach areas. they are all very tastefully decorated with a very distinctive "home away from home" feeling. although rustic in nature, the units are very modern and recently renovated. they offer fully equipped kitchens and comfortable living rooms. each cottage has it's own deck from which to watch the sun rise and set. with water temperatures in the low 70's, this gorgeous lake makes swimming a refreshing delight. you will enjoy the surrounding wildlife and tranquility of the scenic countryside as you leave the rest of the world behind.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Our cottages come equipped with 2-3 bedrooms, some of which overlook the lake. the versatility of queen, full and twin bedding makes accommodations ideal for any type of family. capacity ranges from 4-6 guests per cottage up to 10 guests in our very large 3 bedroom unit depending on the comfort level required. the versatility of our 2 unit cottage makes it ideal for a large family gathering and / or family re-unions.

Amenities

Amenities in all cottages are similar, including cable tv, vcr w/ plenty of good movies for all ages, stereo, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, full bath w/ shower, ceiling fans, card and board games, books /magazines, gas heat for maximum warmth, and gas grills on the deck. we also supply a canoe, paddleboat and kayak for our guests to use as well possible dock space should you choose to bring a boat. embden lake is stocked with bass, salmon and trout from the largest fish hatchery in the state of maine. there is also a nice playground on site.other activities nearby include a public beach, biking, cinemas, miniature golf and tennis.our cool nights are wonderful for restful sleep, broken only by the soothing early morning cry of a beautiful loon. enjoy a good book, explore the lake by canoe, walk a nature trail or just relax at the water's edge. you can barbeque outside with the family, explore the many hills and hidden ponds and feel the exhilaration of a great day of fishing.

Rates & Availability

Rates in all but one cottage is $99.00 / night plus tax for up to 4 guests and $20.00 / night for each additional guest. our very large 3 bedroom cottage is $129.00 / night plus tax for up to 6 guests and $20.00 / night for each additional guest. there is a $50.00 cleaning fee.

The cottages are located 30 minutes west of i-95.take exit 130 ( old exit 34 ) in waterville. it is 2 hours nw of portland and 1 hour sw of bangor. detailed directions taking guests to the door of the cottage are provided as reservations are made.
