Typical Day

Your custom made tour commences with either a pick from your pre arranged accommodation or a leisurly stroll to the centrally located Marlin Marina before steaming / driving to your preferred fishing location. The excitement mounts as the skipper fills you with "tall tales and true" of the ones that didn't get away. Your fishing dreams are about to be fullfilled !

Fishing Cairns can organise everything, from your airport transfer, accommodation, fishing charter, touring options and hire car needs. We cater to groups, individuals and families and ensure your individual fishing style and angling desires are met by placing you with the right skippers and guiding options.

Sleeping and meals

Modern, fast day boats steam out from Trinity Inlet (Cairns Harbour) to the fishing grounds approx. 20ks off the coast or late model 4WD vehicles take you in comfort to our World Heritage listed Tropical Rainforest Rivers. Light refreshments, tea, coffee, soft drink and cold water is provided, lunch arrangements vary dependent on charter type. All tackle, lures, fly's, rods etc supplied on a replace if lost / broken basis.

Policies & Restrictions

If you'r old enough to hold a rod (4 years plus) and not too old to get excited - enjoy the worlds biggest participation sport FISHING.

More grander marlin come from our waters each year than any other place on the globe (seasons apply) and many world records are held for dolphin fish, dogtooth tuna, barracuda, tiger sharks, mackerel, G.T.'s and barramundi.
