Description of Surrounding Area

This private neighborhood is within walking distance to the famous Kenai River yet you can walk to town. We live in a very quiet wooded area with wildlife abounding daily. Fishing, golf, bird watching, hiking, boating, bicycling, hunting, swimming, National Parks, whale watching, horse back riding, canoe rentals, camping, cross-country skiing and snowmaching, ice fishing...This area is home to it all. Elevation is 71 feet, we are 9 miles to the ocean. We can help with any of your vacationing or traveling needs, fishing guides, sightseeing options and local activities. True Alaskann Hospitality.

Description of Accommodations

This private home is located on a deal end street, making it very quiet. There are 2 clean and updated guestrooms that share a full bath. The rooms are located in the loft part of the home. The deck is 1,100 sf and provides total privacy from the rest of the world. This offers a great chance to get close and personal to our resident moose and their new babies. There is a circular driveway with plenty of off-street parking. Many trees and flowers fill the 1/2 acre yard.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Choose from 2 guestrooms with a queen bed with a shared bath in a loft area, this option includes full breakfast or continental. Guests have the run of most of the home and a large deck. Robes, slippers, cable TV, options to lunch or dinner available, plus a friendly atmosphere. Updated and clean accomodations, brass beds, robes, slippers, quality linens and nice views.

Amenities

Computer for checking email available. Full knowlege of the Peninsula and help finding the best fishing guides in the area. We can help you get the most of your vacation or business needs while in Alaska, even line up other B&B's and fishing guides in other Alaska cities. There are many quality restaurants as well as fast food areas all withing a short distance of the home. Near the Sport Center, churches and Chamber of Commerce, and of course, The River!

Fishing and tour guide info and bookings, golf tee times, fishing poles and equipment to fish on your own. Limited freezer space and fish packing.

Restrictions

No pets. All smoking limited to outdoors.

Wildlife abounds on the property, moose and eagles can be seen almost daily.

Directions

Just 147 miles south of Anchorage, one the the Top US drives as rated in several magazines. A few block west of Sterling Hyway, right in the middle of town. Turn right at B&J's on Kobuk and follow it about 4 blocks to Stacy Drive, on the right, and look for Blazy Park sign..this is a dead end street. We are the 6th house on the right side of the street.
