Description of Surrounding Area

We are located between downtown and the historic old town known as Old Colorado City. This area has rolling foot hills and mesas surrounding fountain creek which flows down Ute Pass, the Northeast side of Pikes Peak. Our Westside neighborhood was developed around the turn of the century and has a variety of architectual styles from the late 1800's to the present.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Garden of the Gods Park only 3 miles away, tour by car or hike this beautiful area.
Pikes Peak . . 14,110 ft. elevation, home of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Auto Race.

Description of Accommodations

The AwareNest Victorian Bed & Breakfast is a traditional turn of the century home decorated entirely in period antiques and vintage stained glass. Located just outside the Historic District of Old Colorado City on a tree lined street, It's hard wood floors and 10 foot ceilings reflect the gracious living of a bygone era.

Description of Rooms/Suites

The "Nightingale Suite" on the second floor has a queen size bed, a bay window and for an additional charge, will accommodate breakfast in suite. It's attached luxury bath has vaulted ceilings, spacious walk-in shower, wood floors and a jetted roman marble tub for two. The sitting room features a free standing gas fireplace. The room has a TV with VCR and a phone.
We have opened our downstairs "Bluebird" suite. It has a Queen size bed and a turn of the century oak dresser with mirror, a private attached bath with large clawfoot tub. The sitting room has a fainting couch, TV with VCR and phone. It also has table
and chairs that for an additional charge, we can accommodate breakfast in suite.
Our third room is the "Hummingbird". It is has a Queen size bed and a turn of the century oak dresser with mirror, a private attached bath with clawfoot tub and hand shower. A sofa and TV with VCR and phone.

Amenities

Phone hook-ups are in each room with surge-suppressor power strips to provide connections for computers.

CHECK-IN
We would like to know your estimated time of arrival, so we can properly welcome you to the Awarenest Victorian. Our usual check in time is 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.. If this not convenient, we will make other arrangements.

Check out time is 11:00 am.

CANCELLATIONS
We appreciate your business and will refund the total amount received (minus a $15.00 processing fee) if cancellation is made one week prior to reservation.

RESERVATIONS
All reservations, made in advance, require a 50% deposit within five days after the reservation has been made.
