Resort with a main lodge with wood panelling, huge stone fireplaces & memorabilia from the area. The cabins are all along the lake shore, fully panelled, all with fireplace & sauna, many with hot tub, kitchen, washer/dryer, king sized beds, most have a full bathroom for each bedroom. The lodge is located on the MN/Canadian border in a heavy pine and aspen forest.
Accommodations

Families enjoy naturalist led activities that include moose searches, muckwomping trips, breakfast paddles, hobo hikes, sunset cruises, etc. Fishermen come for walleye, lake trout, smallmouth bass & northern pike (guides are available). Honeymooners have a special package. Winter focuses on dog sledding, crosscountry skiing & snowshoeing.

Directions
From Duluth, Minnesota head northeast on Highway 61 along the north shore of Lake Superior 100 miles to the small village of Grand Marais. Turn left on Cty 12 (Gunflint Trail) and drive 43 miles to the large entrance sign for the resort on your right side. You continue 3/4 mile on a gravel all- weather entrance road to the lodge.
