Camano Island Inn is a rare treasure for the discerning traveler, perfectly located far from stress and distraction, yet only 1 hour from either Seattle or the Canadian border. There is no need to endure long ferry lines in order to enjoy this luxury waterfront inn on the west shore of Camano Island, which is accessed via bridge. Camano Island is located in the heart of Puget Sound, east of Whidbey Island, and south of San Juan Islands. The inn offers spectacular water, mountain, and sunset views. Art galleries, golf, and shopping are available nearby. Kayaks and massage are offered at the inn.

Accommodations

The inn is a newly renovated turn-of-the-century building, decorated in an Arts and Crafts style reminiscent of the hotel’s earlier days. Public spaces are large and comfortable. Views of water, wildlife, boat traffic, Olympic Mountains, and sunsets are spectacular. The inn is filled with original artwork by NW artists. Guestrooms are private and quite soundproof.

Rooms/Suites

All rooms have a private bath (with heated tile floor and oversize shower), a private waterfront deck with spectaculare views, TV/VCR/CABLE, and phone. Both Queen and King beds have goose down featherbeds, duvets, and mounds of pillows. A private outdoor hot tub or an in-room jacuzzi-for-two are optional amenities. Rooms include full breakfast and room service, if you like.

Directions

From Interstate 5, take exit 212. The signs will say Hiway 532, to Stanwood and Camano Island.

At the stop sign, turn left (West) onto Hiway 532, following the signs to Stanwood and Camano Island.

Follow Hiway 532 through Stanwood and onto Camano Island.

Continue on Hiway 532 as it takes a wide sweeping turn to the left (South) and becomes East Camano Drive. Avoid exiting onto North Camano Drive, which exits Hiway 532 to the right.

Heading South on East Camano Drive, you will pass a Texaco, Camano Plaza Market, and Camaloch Golf Course. These will all be on your left. One half mile past the golf course, look for Camano Hill Road on the right.

Turn right onto Camano Hill Road. Continue over Camano Hill to the stop sign.

At the stop sign, turn left (South) onto West Camano Drive.

As West Camano Drive nears the water, look for Camano Island Inn on your right. Look for the river rock fence posts lining the parking area and the two story river rock fireplace. There is a large carved wood sign out front beneath the arbor.
