Eastholme is located in the mountains in Pike National Forest, just west of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, and close to all the Pikes Peak attractions. The Olympic Center, US Air Force Academy, Cog Railway to Pikes Peak and the toll road to the summit of Pikes Peak are all withing minutes of the bed and breakfast. Just 30 minutes away are the quaint old mining towns of Victor and Cripple Creek (which now has limited stakes gambling). Hiking trails start right out the front door. White water rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding and other outdoor adventures are available.
Eastholme in the Rockies b&b was built in 1885 in theVictorian style is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has a forty foot front porch and balcony, and a lovely stone patio for guests to relax and enjoy our breath taking mountain scenery.
The interior has all the original woodwork, doors, and windows and is lovingly decorated in Victorian style, without the fussiness. Lace curtains allows all the blue Colorado sky and wonderful sunshine in to cheer you. The spacious parlor has a piano, fireplace, bay window, TV/VCR, movies, wood floor with oriental rug, beautiful and comfortable antique furniture. The dining room can accommodate 20 or more people for the gourmet breakfast served each morning. Dining is also permitted on the patio or front porch on warm mornings. The guest kitchen on the second floor is always available for guests to use, with microwave oven, refrigerator, toaster oven and snackes.
Placed on about an acre of land, the mountain landscaping invites all guests to stroll around and smell the flowers and fresh air. Our two honeymoon cottages are private and have their own decks and yards and a view of our friendly miniature horse and his domain, the 1885 original barn. Hundred year old pine trees surround the yard giving us lots of shade on warm days and a beautiful place for snow to gather. An outdoor hot tub is private and available by sign up for guests.
Each of the six rooms in the main house has its own distinct personality, all spacious, with plendy of room to move around. The Eisenhower Suite (yes, they stayed here in the early 1920's) has ten foot ceilings, large windows overlooking Pike National Forest, original Eastlake style furniture and oriental rugs. In the front room is a queen bed with down comforter, and the second room has a double bed, sofa, and rocking chair. Private bath across the hall with shower (bathrobes provided). Sleeps up to four -$109 per night. The Eliza Marriott Hewlitt Suite (also $109) has the ten foot ceilings, a lovely sitting room with a sleep sofa, chair and ottoman, and desk. The bedroom has original furniture, high queen bed with down comforter, private bath with a shower,sleeps 1-4. The Katherine Lee Bates Room is also located on the second floor and has the high celings, wonderful view off the front balcony, antique furniture, queen bed with down comforter and featherbed and a free standing fireplace. The private bath with shower is across the hall (bathrobes provided) $99, sleeps 1-2. On the third floor is the Sarah Beth Room with handpainted furniture, gilded queen bed with down comforter and featherbed, and a twin with trundle, private bath with a regular tub and a hand held shower, $89, sleeps 1-4. The other two rooms, the Susan and Kathryn, share a full bath with old fashioned tub and a shower surround. This bath is in the hall. These $75 rooms can sleep 1-3 people and have antique iron double beds and a twin. There is also a sittinga rea on this floor with an antique wicker chaise lounge and other seating. The cottages sit approximately thirty feet behind the main house and about thirty feet from each other. Columbine has a sitting room with sleep sofa, bedroom with a full vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace (gas logs), TV/VCR, mini-kitchen, table and chairs, the large bath has an oval jacuzzi tub, and hand held shower. Sleeps 1-4. There is a large deck off the back with additional seating area. $150 per night, includes breakfast in the main dining room. The Primrose cottage is smaller than Columbine, but has a sitting area in the bedroom and a jacuzzi tub for two with a hand held shower. TV/VCR, antique furniture with queen bed, down comforter, corner gas fireplace and the mini kitchen. Sleeps 1-2. $150. All prices quoted are double occupancy. Extra person charge is $15 per adult, no charge for individual children under 10 years.
We are here to help you get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The outdoor areas are quiet and peaceful. The Parlor is comfortable and spacious. The guest kitchen is for your use, and the upstairs sitting area is perfect for a quiet place to read.
Daily maid service is provided, massage is available with a reservation. Snacks are always available in the quest kitchen.
No pets, please. No smoking, except outside.
Rates range from $75 to $150 with a 10% discount for a 7 night stay, or a whole house rental (except in summer season). The busiest time of year is from May 15 thru Sept. Call for reservations (required).

We have an outdoor friendly cat, innkeeper's dog (not allowed in the quest areas), and a miniature horse (in the original barn).
Smoking is allowed outside only. Anyone smoking in the house will have a $50 fee added to his room rate.
From Colorado Springs take I-25 to exit 141 (Cimarron Street) west (becomes Hwy 24). Stay on this for eleven miles. You will go past Manitou Springs. Three miles past Manitou Springs there is a small green sign that says "Cascade", turn right after this sign by our post office. This access road runs parallel to the highway and only has two streets on it. The secont one is Topeka Ave, turn right on Topeka and go up the hill. Eastholme is on the right hand corner of Topeka and Haggerman - a large yellow Victorian with white trim and a full front porch.
