Gunflint Lodge is nested in a pine and birch forest in northern Minnesota adjacent to the famed Boundary Waters Wilderness. The lodge is on Gunflint Lake, a Canadian border lake, one of a myriad of deep clear water lakes in the area. Guests frequently see moose, deer, fox, and eagles as they drive to the resort along the Gunflint Trail.
