Thank you for your interest in Adventure Bound, home of Maine's Finest Outdoor Adventures. It is my pleasure to pass on information regarding our exciting activities and extensive facilities.

FIRST CLASS RESORT FACILITY
The Adventure Bound Sports Resort Complex provides you with the most diverse range of amenities available in Maine. Our facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, 24 person hot tub, 28 foot indoor climbing wall, full court basketball, beach volleyball, softball diamond, soccer field, horseshoe pits, a game room, full service cafeteria, main lodge, retail section, class rooms, large bonfire area, gazebo tent, campsites and cabin tent accommodations. Deluxe accommodations can also be arranged.

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
We offer a host of thrilling and challenging adventure activities for all ages and ability levels. Whether you are a beginner, novice or have extensive experience in our many activities, our staff can provide you with the right amount of challenge to suit your expectations. Our programs include whitewater rafting, rock climbing, ropes courses, hiking, canoeing adventures, various overnight trips and family activities. BIG WATER DAYS ON THE KENNEBEC
On June 22 and July 8, 2002 experience the Kennebec River at its’ absolute wildest. On this special day, the dam owners will be testing the output of Harris Station by releasing 8400 cubic feet of water per second, well above the normal flows of 4800 to 6000 cfs. Book your reservations early as space is limited and this day will sell out quickly.

OUR FEATURED TRIP
ADULTS-ONLY, TWO-DAY OVERNIGHT WEEKEND MINI VACATION
Arrive Friday night for this all-inclusive, 2 day, 24 mile rafting adventure. It is the ultimate weekend getaway for those looking for whitewater excitement while being pampered in the Maine Wilderness. This outstanding package includes accommodations for Friday and Saturday evening, all rafting and camping equipment, complimentary wetsuits, dry bags for personal gear, meals beginning with breakfast on Saturday to lunch on Sunday that includes a lobster cookout, and professional Maine Guides. You supply a sleeping bag and pillow, flashlight, bathing suit, personal gear, rain gear, sturdy footwear, and personal alcoholic beverages. Participants must be at least 21 years of age.

Special Youth, Family and Custom Overnight Adventures are available Sunday through Friday.

KENNEBEC RIVER WHITEWATER ADVENTURE
Breakfast at The Adventure Center.
7:30 a.m. check-in.
Equipment issue.
Safety orientation.
Shuttle bus transportation to Harris Station.
Practice session.
Begin descent of Upper Kennebec River through Class IV rapids.
Stop for snack break, and to blow up our inflatable kayaks.
Continue rafting with time to relax, swim, waterfight, and paddle our inflatable kayaks.
All-you-can-eat cookout of steak, chicken, salmon or veggie burger with stir-fried rice, salad, dessert, lemonade, hot chocolate and guide’s coffee.
Slide and personalized video presentation shot and edited by our in-house video kayakers in the main lodge.
