Peaceful is the word most people use to describe Sweetnin' House, a country cottage just five miles east of I-65 north of Montgomery. Set among large oak trees and delicious pecans, the fertile land of cotton surrounds the lovely old farm handed down for three generations. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail extends to our area with the Capitol Golf Course just 15 miles away.
Accommodations
As you enter, the large parlor and dining room filled with family antiques will invite you to step back in time to the days when Cotton was King. A grand piano invite those who play to sit down and tickle the ivories. A fireplace will make you want to curl up with a good book or sit with other guests and make new friends.
The Morning Room is availble to sit with a cup of coffee and the newspaper while breakfast is being prepares. An antique Hoosier Cabinet contains a collection of cups and mugs from which guests can choose the container for their morning coffee.
The Sun Room is where breakfast is served at intimate tables for two. The rest of the day this room is for games like checkers, backgammon, dominoes, tic-tac-toe, monopoly, etc.
Rooms/Suites
LeeAnne's room has a queen size reproduction canopy bed with lamb's wool pillow-top mattress, down comforter, and lots of pillows. An antique armoire contains cable TV. A private bath adjoins this room.
David's room has a king size mahoghany bed, armoire with TV/VCR, and a private tub bath.

Directions
I-65, take exit 181 and travel east to County Road 3 (apx. 3 miles). Turn left(north) and continue about 2 miles. A lighted sign will greet you at the circle drive.
