
Active Adventure
Whitewater rafting adventures on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers from May to October, funyaking, rock climbing, overnight camping, wildlife safaris and sightseeing to Maine's highest waterfall
Typical Day
Cehck in at 9am. After gearing up with life vests, paddles and helmets and an orientation talk head vis Magic Falls bus or van to the launch site on the Dead or Kenenbec River, a three hour trip paddling through Class II-V rapids, return to base camp for a hearty outdoor BBQ of chicken fish or steak followed by a slide and video presentation of your trip. The day ends around 4 pm.

Age range, type of group
Must be 10 years or older to raft the Kennebec River and 12 or older for the Dead. We specialize in family, youth, camp, scout and college groups
Sleeping and meals
Tent sites and cabin tents at the Magic Falls Campground alongside the Dead River, The Dead River lodge with king, queen and family style bunk rooms where continental breakfast is served. ADA room. Rivers Inn is a housekeeping inn sleeping up to 30 and is great for family and adult groups. Pizza parties, lobster bakes, chicken barbecues can be catered.

Restrictions
No dogs allowed. Adults may bring their own alcohol. No alcohol allowed on the river at any time. Alcohol prohibited on fmaily and youth group overnight trips.
Rates & Availability
Prices start at $ 60 in May midweek in July and AUgust $76, $86 Sunday and $110 on Saturday on the Kennebec and $90 for Dead River trips. Youth group and college group rates from $54. Overnight camping from $12 and lodging from $35 per person
