Famous for its remote wilderness setting, BIG rollercoaster waves and summer long flows, The Kennebec River is easily the most popular river in the Northeast. From its source, the river carves its way through a deep, rock-walled gorge on a breathtaking 12 mile journey. Ideal for beginners or experienced rafters.

One of the most spectacular rivers in the East, the Penobscot begins at Ripogenus Gorge and drops over 70 feet per mile through a narrow, granite walled canyon into Class V Exterminator and the Cribwork. The excitement continues as you travel 14 miles through a series of steep drops and calmer sections on your descent under the shadow of Mount Katahdin, Maine's highest peak. Typical Day

Each whitewater adventure features a professional registered Maine guide in each raft, state of the art self-bailing rafts, highest quality Class V lifejackets, delicious noon-time riverside cookout, slide and video presentation of the day's adventure, and full use of the resort facilities.

Grand log Lodge with great food and fresh, hand-crafted beers from our Kennebec River Brewery. Hot tubs, exercise room, swimming pool, tennis court, private lake. Wide variety of accommodations from idyllic riverside camping to deluxe lakeside log cabins.
