Corvallis, the heart of the Willamette Valley, is the center for exploring Oregon wineries. We grow great Pinot Noir and other fine wines. Enjoy the valley on your bike or tandem, seeing covered bridges and mountians. Hiking in MacDonald Forest, Mary's Peak or area wildlife areas is also a treat. The Oregon Coast is an hour west and the Cascade Mountains are two hours east. Downtown Corvallis contains restaurants, coffee shops and bookstores for after an active day.
Harrison House is a restored 1939 Dutch colonial offering four guest rooms
. Furnishings are from the colonial Williamsburgh era. We are situated in a historic neighborhood adjacent to the Oregon State University campus. All our rooms have private baths.
The Allison Room honors the family who built and lived in Harrison House for fifty years. The Rose Room overlooks our English cottage garden and the Steamship Room takes our guests back to the days of ocean liner travel. The Heirloom Room has an American country theme with an antique spool bed.
Corvallis has great restaurants that are within walking distance or a short drive. Guests can use Timberhill Athletic Club as guest members.
