Join Pangaea Adventures for a remarkable journey through the waters of Prince William Sound and the Mountains of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. We offer a variety of fun options, including glacier-hiking, ice-climbing, backpacking and our specialty: sea kayaking. All tours are fully outfitted and guided. From our base in Valdez, Alaska, you can join any desired tour, ranging from 1-14 days in length. Choose a sea kayaking day tour to one of the local tide water glaciers or pack a kayak and cast off for a 6 day kayak camping tour. If you are not interested in camping, we offer active lodge-based trips and tours backed by comfortable charter vessels. Climb aboard and cruise Prince William Sound from 3-8 days while the guide takes you on magnificent hikes and breath-taking paddles in the stable sea kayaks. Typical Day

If you were on a sea kayak camping tour, you'd awake to the sound of remoteness, unzip your tent, and begin breathing in the incredible vistas. Icebergs and sea otters might float by while you enjoy a tastey and filling breakfast. Load the kayaks and enjoy a day of coastal exploration. Paddle to the face of the glacier and/or navigate your way through the drifting ice. Pull ashore and pick the perfect perch upon which to enjoy a picnic lunch ! Learn about how the glaciers carve out the valleys and what the whale might be feeding on as they swim by. Cover some miles in the afternoon as you follow the guide to the next camp site. An evening camp fire will top of the day before falling asleep to the sound of lapping waves and chirping eagles.

Age range, type of group

Pangaea Adventures offers a full spectrum of tours for all ages. Families are encouraged to join some of our tours, while others are designed for individual travelers. Must be 40 pounds to sea kayak.

Sleeping and meals

Our camping tours are outfitted with top of the line tents. Meals are prepared fresh by the guides and include fresh veggies, fish and other specialties.Our yacht based tours offer private rooms and bathrooms with showers. Meals are served on board in the galley and are prepared by the personal cook. Lodge-based tours provide comfortable rooms and delicious meals.
