Surrounding Area
Glenlivet is a hilly area surrounded by the Cairngorm mountains and close to the Lecht both excellent areas for skiing, hill walking and mountain climbing. Located 9 miles from the Victorian town of Dufftown home to the Glenfiddich distillery and Balvenie Castle. This area is rich in history and is close to the Spey side way a wonderful long distance walk from Spey Bay to Tomintoul. Tomintoul is the highest
village in the highlands.The town of Elgin with a beautiful ruined Cathedral and an excellent museum are 25 miles away. There are many whisky distilleries including the Glenlivet, Glen Grant, Glenfarclas, Macallan and Cardhu.
Vacation Rental Property
There are 3 cottages in a restored farm building which is in a U shape with a cottage at each end and one in the middle. The building is of stone and has large patio windows in each of the lounge/dining rooms. There is an enclosed courtyard at the centre of the U which has a washing line and in summer tables and chairs. The kitchens are modern and include washing machines and microwaves. The lounges are comfortably furnished.
Sleeps & # of Bedrooms
One end cottage and the centre cottage have 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 to 6 people. Each has a shower and toilet. The third cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 4 to 8 people. There is a bath and separate shower in the bathroom

There is digital satellite TV, a combined CD player/radio, telephone in 2 of the cottages, fitted kitchen in each, multi fuel stove in each living room, showers in each cottage and a bath in the 3 bedroomed one, microwaves

Directions
Bluefolds Cottages are situated 1 mile from the B9009 Dufftown to Tomintoul road. From Perth take the A9 north towards Inverness turn off on to the A95 signposted Banff, turn right onto the B9008 at Bridge of Avon continue through Bridge End of Livet and turn left onto the B9009 towards Dufftown and then turn left at the Bluefolds sign after about 2 miles.
