Surrounding Area
Taylors Falls is one of the most scenic areas in the state of M
innesota. Great walls of rock were carved by huge glaciers forming what we now call the Dalles. The St. Croix River was bustling with loggers dangerously guiding their bounty along the river, which now attracts many canoeists, kayakers, swimmers, fishermen, boaters, and snowmobilers. Wild River State Park boasts of having over 33 miles of the most scenic cross-country skiing in the state; and Wild Mountain Recreation Area prides itself on being the first ski area open in the state in the past 20 years. Wild Moutain also features waterslides, go carts, alpine slide and lazy river in the summer, along with boat cruises through the Dalles. You may book lunch or dinner cruises or just the scenic cruise. There are train rides nearby featuring an original steam engine and caboose rides too. There is tubing down the Sunrise River on a lazy afternoon and horseback riding just down the road and also rock climbing. Gandy Dancer bike trail is a short distance away and golfing, regular and miniature, are also nearby. There are craft and antique shops,and historic buildings to tour.

Accommodations
Enjoy the peace and quiet of our secluded, wooded location. Out hot tub is nestled beneath the trees. There is central air conditioning and heat controls in each attractively decorated room. All rooms look out onto the woods. You can watch birds at the feeders and sometimes deer wandering by.
full breakfast is served and kitchen and outdoor grill are available for your use. Luxurious robes are furnished for your comfort. We feature a non-smoking environment and children 12 and older are welcome. No pets please as owners have two dogs. Open year round, check in is 3 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover/Novus. So we are able to prepare for your comfort, reservations are requested. We are located just across the road from the St. Croix River which you can view from our wood deck, along with nesting bald eagles.

Rooms/Suites
Richard's room is the largest of our three rooms with two fireside chairs and a luxurious four-poster queen size bed viewing the garden and woods. Jenny's room features a beautiful lace-draped trellis style canopy queen size bed which looks out onto the garden and the woods. Mickey's room hosts a slatted cherrywood cozy double bed with seating area for two and a lovely armoire. From the large bay window you can view the woods, the river, a variety of birds at the feeder, and sometimes deer wandering by.

There is an outdoor hot tub on the premises and an online computer could be accessible.

Rates & Availability
Rates at the present time are $149 per room but subject to change. We are open year round. Advance reservations preferred.
Directions
Pass through the business district of Taylors Falls (Highway 95), turn right after the Drive-In Restaurant (Cty.16). Drive North five miles, pass over narrow bridge, first left (signage on road).
