Skiing/Snowboarding

Teton Women's Telemark Ski Weekend at Grand Targhee. Spend one and a half days in the resort working on skiing skills. In the evenings participate in sessions on avalanche awareness, gear, safety, and tips along with socializing with other women skiers. The third day is a backcountry tour in the Tetons or in the resort , if you prefer. Package includes food, lodging, instruction, guides, lift tickets, other goodies. Can accomodate special gear and dietary needs.

Alta Telemark Corn Festival is coed and has everything from demos to expert instruction and parties. Super star instructors and telemark skiers will be there to help and encourage the novice and challenge the proficient. The whole orientation is to explore Alta and have fun. Resort/Package

Our events are at Grand Targhee, Wyoming and Alta Utah along with some of the most spectacular in bounds terrain and accessible backcountry tours around. These special resorts have some of the best snow conditions of any place in the world. Days include working in small groups on skiing and safety skills with some of the most expert instructors around. The end of the day provides time for relaxation and social time.

Age range, type of group

Women of all ages are encouraged to participate in the Women's Weekend. All telemark skiers are invited to the Alta Telemark Corn Festival. We have had youngsters as young as 6 up to 70. There are singles, couples, and families.

Policies & Restrictions

The weekend programs are priced to include lodging and most meals. The Festival will inlcude social activities but not lodging. Lodging is at the Grand Targhee Lodge.

Rates

You should feel comfortable skiing for three or four days in a row.
