Beechwood is located on Cape Cod's lovely North Shore, in the heart of the Old King's Highway Historic District. Antique shops, craft shops, museums, galleries, cranberry bogs, salt marshes and beaches are right outside our door. And its just a ten minute drive to Hyannis, the heart of the cape with shopping, night life, fine dining, the Kennedy compound and the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
Beechwood is a Queen Anne Victorian restored to its 1853 splendor.Surrounded by acres of lawns, gardens, perennial gardens and two magnificent Beech trees, this classic Victorian has a wrap-around veranda furnished with rockers and wicker. The inn is beautifully decorated with period antiques, a wood-paneled dining room and a parlor with fireplace, William Morris wallpaper and stained-glass windows.
All 6 bedrooms are furnished with antiques. All are air-conditioned and have King or Queen beds, private baths, refrigerators and walk-in closets or armoires. Three rooms have fireplaces and tv's and three have year-round or seasonal views of Cape Cod Bay. An example is the spectacular Rose Room with a solid mahogany hand-carved canopy bed, a red velvet fainting couch and an Italian mahogany armoire. The Garret Room has an antique brass bed from the 1850's and an arched window with sweeping views of Cape Cod Bay. All rooms are pictured on our web site,
