Surrounding Area

Haliburton has wonderful skiing, biking, hiking and canoeing/kayaking. We are close to downhill skiing, whitewater rivers, and Algonquin Park. We can arrange for snowmobile adventures, mountain biking and more. In Haliburton are art galleries and a pioneer village. The local area is known for great drives, esp. in the fall.

Accommodations

We have 25 rooms in the inn and adjoining wings, and in lakeside chalets (fully equipped, two storey). Most rooms have whirlpool and fireplace. All are beautifully appointed. There is an excercise room and an outdoor pool/whirpool.

Our Twin Fires dining room is one of the best places to eat north of Toronto. We offer a fresh selection of tempting appetizers, entrees and sweets daily, complemented by our unique wine cellar. We often have music in our pub, including special jazz nights. Dining room events include a fall wine and game dinner.
