Description of Accommodations
Our stately Victorian home on a quiet, shady, residential street, has been carefully restored, modernized, and decorated with antique furnishings to create an inviting cozy oasis, with 6 unique air conditioned bedrooms, guest living room with an ornamental fireplace and guest phone, guest kitchen/dining room with fridge and microwave, and a breakfast deck/garden.
Description of Rooms/Suites
The Blue Room, located on the 2nd floor at the front of the house, and our largest room, has a 4-poster canopy queen bed, TV/VCR, sitting area and fantastic sunny view of downtown Toronto. $80 sgl. $100 dbl. The Green room in the centre of the house is quiet and shady and has a queen size bed, and pine antiques. $70 sgl. $90 dbl. Our smallest bedroom, the Rose room has a double bed, dresser and reading chair overlooking the back garden. $50 sgl. $70 dbl. Located on the first floor at the back of the house, is the Yellow room, with a queen size bed, dresser and reading chair. It overlooks the back deck/garden through a glass door and window. $70 sgl. $90 dbl. Also on the first floor is the Lilac room, once the home's dining room, with a high ceiling, cornice molding, and pendant light. This room can be made up with a king bed or twin beds as you prefer. It is furnished with an armoire, TV/VCR, bureau, table and reading chair. $80 sgl. $100 dbl. The White room, is on the ground floor, with a queen bed, sitting area, TV/VCR, private bath and sunny view south to the street, $90 sgl. $110 dbl.

Directions
There are several ways to arrive from the airport. 1. A rental car $? 20min to 1 hr depending on traffic. From the airport , take the 427 freeway south about10Km ( 6 miles ), to the QEW ( Queen Elizabeth Way ) and follow the signs to Toronto. Follow the QEW into the city along the lake and it becomes the Gardiner Expressway. When you pass the CN Tower ( tall needle ), and Skydome Stadium look for the Jarvis St. exit North. Follow Jarvis 3Km ( 1 mile) north to Gerrard St. Left at the lights and 2 short blocks to Church St. Right at the lights 1 block to McGill. Just past McGill is the entrance to a parking lot off of Church St. We are first house on the left as you make a right off of Church St. onto McGill or the large house next to the parking lot with the glass block windows punched in the side wall if you are parking first. 2. The airport bus ( $12.50 one way ) to Delta Chelsea Inn hotel downtown, shuttle transfer drops off at the Primrose Hotel on Carlton St. 2 blocks (2 min ) walk from us or the Days Inn on Carlton 2 blocks (2 min ) 3. Taxi $35.00 - $45.00 20min-1 hr depending on traffic 4. B&B Limo Service door to door $30.00 flat rate 1-800-465-3434 or at the airport 624-2424 ( 20min - 1 hr depending on traffic ) 5. City transit (TTC) outside terminals 1&2, $2.00 , get a transfer. Take Lawrence Ave bus ( 58a) to Lawrence subway station on the Yonge/University subway line. Travel south about 8 stops to Queens Park Station at College St. Take College streetcar eastbound to Church St. Exit and walk south on Church 2 short blocks to McGill. Left on McGill and we are the 1st house on your left or alternatively stay on subway, from Lawrence 20 stations south, down around the loop at Union station and back up to College St. station.. Exit and walk east on Carlton St. 1 long block to Church St. Turn south, right 2 short blocks to McGill. Left on McGill and we are the 1st house on your left. Directions from Montreal, Ottawa, Upstate NY Follow the 401 freeway from Ontario border into Toronto. There are alternative short scenic routes that parellel the 401 that each might add 15 minutes to your overall drive. The 1,000 Islands parkway is a beautiful drive following the St. Lawrence river into Kingston. Parts of old highway 2 parallel Lake Ontario and pass thru some historic lovely old town such as Belleville and Port Hope. Once within the city watch for the Don Valley Parkway south. Travel about 10Km ( 6 miles), south on the Don Valley and exit on Richmond St. travel past several lights to Church St. Turn right at the lights. travel 1 Km past the lights at Gerrard. Mcgill is the next intersection. Turn right and we are the 1st house on your left at 110. If you are coming from Niagara falls, Buffalo, Cleveland, Rochester follow the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) signs to Toronto into the city along the lake and it becomes the Gardiner Expressway. When you pass the CN Tower, and Skydome Stadium look for the Jarvis St. exit North. Follow Jarvis 3Km ( 1 mile) north to Gerrard St. Left at the lights and 2 short blocks to Church St. Right at the lights 1 block to McGill. As you make a right off of Church St. onto McGill we are the first house on the left at 110 McGill St. Try not to miss the beautiful little town of Niagara-On-The-Lake, often voted Canada's prettiest little town with over 200 B&B's, historic forts and battlefields, A quaint main street with clock tower, The George Bernard Shaw Festival and beautiful parks with views of the Niagara river and Lake Ontario. Niagara is the centre of one of Canada's wine regions and is famous for it's delicious Ice Wine. Several wineries offer tours, free tastings, fine restaurants and shops. Iniskillian Winery on the Niagara Parkway along the river is very good.
