Accommodations

Built in 1928 as a movie investor's luxury resort and now a declared historical landmark, Gold Mountain Manor offers a return to the relaxed elegance of yesteryear in the pristine mountain setting that is Big Bear Lake. Set on an acre of Ponderosa pine, the park-like front yard, complete with hammock for two in the shade and perennial gardens, beckons one to relax and listen to the wind through the pines with your someone special. Then come inside our log cabin mansion where the massive field rock fireplace in the Parlor welcomes you and an antique Player Piano stands ever ready to entertain. The Great Room challenges you with billiards and also offers an exceptional short story library, if your desire is to relax by the fire and read. The wraparound veranda with comfy seating areas sets the scene for contemplation and romance.

Rooms/Suites

Each one of six guest rooms offers unique insight into Big Bear's historic past with all the amenities of the future and all have queen size bed and private bath. The Presidential and Ted Ducey suites offer in room Jacuzzi tubs and private veranda entrances and cozy, luxurious details abound in all of our rooms including wood burning fireplaces, aromatherapy bath products, soft robes and down comforters so you can forget about your troubles and focus on each other. Full concierge services including activity arrangements and in-room massage are available and we've been known to help set the scene for a nervous would-be groom to pop the question or to help rekindle the romance on a special anniversary or birthday. No pets in the Manor, although we do have a guest house that can accomodate them, no smoking or children under the age of 14.

Rates & Availability

Rooms run from $135-$200 per night on the weekends and $120-$180 during the week with a further discount for midweek, multi-day stays. We are open seven days a week, 365 days a year.
