Far from the madding crowd, nestled amid the serenity of 100+ acres of rolling farmland in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Weatherbury Farm is the perfect escape from every day pressures. It is a quiet place removed from the cares of the workaday world where meadows and gardens, fields and valleys combine to create a perfect setting of tranquil relaxation. Here the gentle amenities of life are still observed. To stay at Weatherbury Farm is to experience the richness and warmth of a period when welcoming friends or strangers was a cultivated art. The livery (a barn relocated to the property) and summer kitchen have been restored and redecorated (much by the owners' own hands) to create the kind of small farm vacation bed and breakfast one has always hoped to find. Weatherbury Farm is set in an area of natural beauty to offer a stopping-off place for exploring the many attractions of the area. Opportunities for bicycling, boating, fishing, hiking, horse-back riding and golf abound. Antiquing and flea markets are among the many choices of entertaining year round activities. Starlake Amphitheater and Brooke Hills Playhouse offer a variety of summer entertainment. Meadowcroft, a recreated 19th century village and 16000 year old rock shelter, is also close by. Pittsburgh, Washington PA and panhandle West Virginia are within easy driving distance.

Accommodations

Our guest rooms and suites, located in a cluster of restored historic farm buildings, are in the restored summer kitchen and livery stable on our 100 acre working grass fed beef and sheep farm.

Rooms/Suites

Our guest rooms and suites are lovingly furnished with an old-fashioned country charm. All rooms and suites have en-suite bathrooms and are air-conditioned. Rooms and suites also have a small refrigerator for guests' use. Weatherbury Farm is truly a home away from home for the weary traveler, business person or tourist.

Amenities

Located on a working grass fed beef and sheep farm (with chickens, ducks, geese and guineas too) Weatherbury Farm offers 100+ acres of meadows, gardens and fields. There is an outdoor pool.Children are invited to participate in our Weatherbury Farm Kids Program.

Policies & Restrictions

We have no facility to house guests' pets. Outside smoking only.

Rates & Availability

Rate (with private bath) for stays of two or more nights is $110.14/ room rate and $153.74/suite (rates include lodging, breakfast, taxes and all farm activities. Single night rates are $133.03/room and $176.63/suite. There is a $13.65 charge for each additional person. We open in mid March each year-- please email or call for availability.
