63 acre hilltop private estate. Views from this bed and breakfast are unequalled in Northwest Connecticut. Large fieldstone Library room with open-beamed ceiling, five-foot wide stone fireplace, natural light on three sides. Three sets of French doors face the commodious Flagstone Terrace immediately overlooking the Housatonic River Valley and West Cornwall Village. Music Room with grand piano. Mandarin Reading Room with floor to ceiling glass on two sides and views to the Catskill Mountain peaks.

Rooms/Suites

The guest rooms are reached by a private guest hallway away from the common room areas. Each guest bedroom has fine views, full attached private bath, double bed, writing desk, arm chairs, room-controlled heating and air conditioning, private line direct-dial phone.

No conference facilities are offered, and we do not do weddings or receptions of any kind, as we wish to keep the full facilities available exclusively at all times for our lodgings guests.

Policies & Restrictions

We have our own Hilltop Haven b&b house cat in residence, Chester. He is not allowed in the guest bedrooms or in the guest hallway. So therefore we cannot accept guest pets.
No smoking indoors. Smoking permitted on the flagstone Terrace and on the guest entrance screened porch. This is an adults-only B&B, with family members age 14 and above welcome.

Rates & Availability

Room rate (single or double occupancy) is $145 per night plus the Connecticut 12% Room Tax.
We accept two-night minimum stays at all times, three-night minimums for Summer and Fall national holiday weekends.
