Alaska Saltwater Lodge

Alaska Saltwater Lodge is located about 2 miles south of Seward on the shore of Resurrection Bay. To get to Seward from Anchorage, you take the Seward Highway (a National Scenic Highway) 128 miles south (one of the lmost spectacular 2 to 3 hour drives in North America!). Just far enough out of town to give you a sense of solitude, the lodge is also close enough to Seward to be convenient for activities in town as well (like a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center).

Alaska Saltwater Lodge has everything from standard rooms each with a double bed and single bed and private bath to two and three bedroom suites (private bath in each bedroom). These suites each have a full kitchen and living room with sofas and a great view of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountains. There are also several view suites. These suites havetwo double beds, microwaves, refridgerators, sofa, and spectacular view of Resurrection Bay and the Chugach Mountains.

Alaska Saltwater Lodge offers a guided full day wildlife, whale watching, and glacier tour of the Kenai Fjords National Park every day. We only do small group tours with 15 or fewer people on one of our three custom sightseeing boats.

Take our exclusive overnight Wildlife, Natural History and Glacier Excursion to the outer limits of the Kenai Fjords National Park. You will explore and experience an area of vast wilderness surrounded by fjords deep and narow and hung with spectacular glaciers, an area abundant in wildlife which is seldom seen or visited by tourists.

We also offer full day, half day and evening sea kayak trips from the lodge.

You won't want to miss the State's best saltwater fishing. We also offer custom saltwater fishing packages for salmon, halibut, bass snapper and more.
