Kirkfield is also famous for the Kirkfield Lift-lock on the Trent-Severn Canal, just 2 kilometers from the
inn.
The Camden Plain is world renowned for bird-watching, and the country roads boast craft and antique stores as well as picturesque views.
Just around the corner from the Inn, browse through the flea-market/farmer's market on weekends or take lunch or dinner at the Gatehouse Restaurant on the grounds.
Surrounded by farmlands, but area attractions include fishing, boating, riding, biking, Mini-golf,casino gambling and cycling trails.
Accommodations
This forty room mansion is on thirteen acres of property. A broad covered verandah sweeps around two sides of the house, offering comfort and shelter galore. Wander the sculpture gardens on the grounds, or explore the grand public rooms of the mansion. Play billiards in the games room, or request a picnic lunch for your tours, near or far.
Rooms/Suites
Six comfortable guest rooms have been carefully restored. All have ensuite baths.
These rooms have character and charm, and many have fireplaces as well!
You can enjoy your privacy in your rooms, or about the house and grounds. Equally, you can meet and share a drink or a game of pool with your hosts, or other guests.
The unique character of a historic home will infuse your vacation with a quality unlike any other.
Amenities
As well as the games room, the main floor boasts a parlour with fireplace, as well as the grand reception room.
The Gatehouse Restaurant on the grounds can provide lunch and dinner.
On weekends, the flea/farmers' market is always hopping and a short walk away.
Casinorama can be reached within twenty minutes, and we provide van pick-up to or from the area from Beaverton to Rosedale.
The lockmasters will reccomend us to boaters and we'll be happy to come get you.

We have perfect facillities, indoors and out, to accomodate wedding parties and large meetings of all kinds.
We can arrange catered meals for functions-please allow us to accomodate your group.
Guided tours of the Inn available to outside groups as well as overnight guests.
Policies & Restrictions
We do not have pets in the Inn, and do not accept guest pets.
We may be able to accomodate children in your party-please enquire in advance.
Smoking is possible on the verandah or in the grounds.
Rates & Availability
Rates vary from $55 single and $65 double.
We accept, cash, personal cheques and Mastercard.
Reservations suggested, but not always required.
We are open from early May to Thanksgiving.
