Tawas lake is a large shallow lake with a mostly undeveloped wilderness shoreline. It has great fishing for bluegills, pike, and bass. The lake has extensive wild rice beds and is a prime bird watching or waterfowl hunting area. There is a public boat ramp on the lake or bring your motor and use our boat. Good fishing can also be had within an easy row from shore.

House is located on five lots within a quiet cottage neighborhood and surrounded by huge oaks and white pines. The interior is completely remodeled with oak cabinets. There is a front porch with a lake view across the street.
One bedroom has a full bed, the other bedroom has two twin beds. There are also two full size sleeper sofas. There are two good sized multipurpose rooms and a full sized kitchen with a microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc. Just bring food. Cable TV and a washer-dryer are also included.

Take Newman St. through downtown East Tawas, follow it until it ends turn left, then turn right on Gellar Ave. Follow Gellar around to the right after you see Tawas Lake. House is on right, park in front of large garage.
