Welcome to the all new and improved A Grizzly House Bed & Breakfast. Our home is 5 minutes drive from the Banff Park gate and 15 minutes from downtown Banff. 1 hour 15 mins drive from calgary airport and 1 hour from Lake Louise, Lake Moraine and the Columbian Icefields. A perfect from which to explore the unspoilt Kananaskis Country whether for winter sports or summer's exciting activities or for searching for winldlife and scenery in the Banff, Yoho & Kootenay National parks.
Hiking, Horseriding, Golf, Fishing, fine & casual dining, skiing, dogsledding and much much more await you.

Description of Accommodations

We have two beautiful suites, both have ensuite bathrooms, Satellite TV & VCR, complimentary coffee/tea facilities, fridge, private entrance and deck area, easy access to a fantastic Hot tub in the garden .

The Sunshine suite has a Queen size bed and is a favourite for Honeymooners, we can upgrade you room to include wine, chocolates, etc. etc.
The Garden suite has a Queen size bed plus a double size sofa bed, small indoor sitting area and an adjoining room with microwave. So it is more suitable if you are travelling as a family and want to keep costs lower by staying in the same room.

Our family room/dining room has views of the mountains and if you wish to eat outside we have facilities out on the deck. We pride ourselves in offering one of the best breakfast in town... try us and you will see what we mean. Our breakfasts are usually 5 courses consisting of fresh fruit cocktails, cereals, home baked goods and a hot dish which could be Smoked Salmon omelletes with Grizzly House Hashbrowns, Strawberry filled Crepes with maple cream, Blueberry Blintzes, Steak & Eggs with Canadian pancakes or many other dishes. All guests are welcom to use the garden and barbeque.

A wonderful Hot tub which plays music while you relax exclusively for your use is situated in the garden.

Local facilities are available to guests in Canmore town and include Pool, Library, restaurants, bars, gyms, golf, curling, movies in Banff.

Children welcome (additional charge if over 5 years of age)

No smoking in the house or outside.

No pets as we have own own cat 'Robyn' well and truly in residence:)

Rates & Availability

High Season $145.00 canadian no taxes charged and inclusive of all previously mentioned items

Ski/low season $120 canadian

Room rates based on two person occupancy - additional charge of $25.00 canadian for each additional person over age 5.

Minimum two night booking for advance reservations.

Master / Visa card number or 25% deposit required to reserve rooms, but payment is preferred by cash, travellers cheques or personal cheque upon arrival.

Directions

From Calgary take either highway 1 or 1A(for more scenic drive). On highway 1 take first exit to Canmore at first T jucntion turn left then take first left (Elk Run Boulevarde). On highway 1A take first right after Gap Lake (Elk Run Boulevarde). At top take left at stop sign (Benchlands Trail), take first left (Cougar Creek drive), take third left (Grizzly Crescent) we are number 254 at the bottom of the hill.
