Accommodations

The lodge was built for comfort, in a country setting, close to great four season recreation and adventure opportunities. Ten guest rooms on the upper levels surround the open timberframe great room. Relax in comfortable seating around the crackling fireplace, bathed in natural light from skylights and overhead windows. Enjoy spectacular views of the Columbia River, Rockies & Purcells from the licenced dining, lounge or upper library, each with decks. We keep binoculars handy for viewing when eagles, ospreys or elk feed on the river and wetlands.

Queen - Six guestrooms have comfortable queen beds with private jacuzzi/shower baths, sitting table and chairs, large bureau, nite table,reading lights & clock/radio
Double - Four larger guestrooms with two double beds, great valley views,more windows, and ensuite jacuzzis (Upper Loft has extra sofabed)

Amenities

Guests are treated to a hearty breakfast & homestyle cuisine. We take reservations for dinner or are pleased to recommend many fine dining experiences in nearby Golden. The licensed guest lounge has satellite TV, VCR and comfortable seating and views. The lounge and dining room are great for corporate getaways with a taste of adventure as small conferences or meetings can be arranged with golfing, scenic tours or whitewater rafting.

Directions

International airport at Calgary, Alberta is three hours or consider Spokane Washington or Vancouver BC. Travel to Golden 3 hours west of Calgary on TransCanada Highway. Take main exit(Hwy 95) into Golden and exit to right(south)and take first right and follow road out of Golden(signs for Kicking Horse Resort & Golfing). After crossing single lane bridge, take first left onto Elk Road follow to lodge.
