Scott Walking Adventures
Description of Active Adventure
Red Roads, peaceful pristine beaches, and fresh lobster dinners - Prince Edward Island provides all this and more. We'll follow scenic trails through old forests, by ocean lagoons, sand dunes and long white beaches. One walk takes us to a beach where the sparkling sand sings as we walk and another to the fabulous Greenwich Dunes. PEI is also the home of the captivating fictional character, Anne of Green Gables. We'll visit her favourite haunts, like the Haunted Woods and Lovers Lane, and discover how much author Lucy M. Montgomery loved these trails and how they affected her writing. We'll picnic against the backdrop of ocean, dunes and lush farmland. We'll relax in the evenings in hand-picked gracious inns, eat delicious candle-lit dinners with seafood fresh from the wharves and attend a Ceilidh (that's Gaelic for stomping good time). Our local naturalist guides will share their love and knowledge of their beloved island.
